General School & Location
Where is EA Kite and Wingfoil School located?
Our base is located in Lagos town. Every day, we evaluate the wind and tide to select the best possible spot in the Ria de Alvor lagoon. We use our school van to transport all the equipment to the lagoon; while we have some space for students in the van, we also encourage you to follow us to the spot in your own rental car if you have one. This gives you more flexibility for your schedule after the session!
When is the best time for kitesurfing and wingfoiling in Lagos?
We are open all year round. The summer season offers the most consistent "Nortada" winds, but winter provides fantastic sessions with steady South-East (SE) winds. Whether it’s mid-July or January, we monitor the forecast daily to get you on the water in the best conditions.
What happens if my lesson is canceled due to weather?
If conditions aren't right for your level, we will first try to reschedule your lesson. If we cannot make the lesson happen for any reason, we provide a full refund. No vouchers, no stress, we want you to have the best experience possible.
Lessons & Equipment
What equipment do you use?
We pride ourselves on using premium, modern gear. Our school uses the latest equipment from Slingshot and Naish. We also use radio coaching when necessary to ensure clear communication and faster progression during your time on the water.
What lesson formats do you offer?
We offer Private (1:1) and Semi-Private (2:1) lessons. These formats ensure you get the instructor's full attention. If you are looking for a comprehensive start, our 3-day lesson packages are the perfect way to build your skills and confidence.
Rentals & Certification
Can I rent equipment?
Yes, equipment rental is available for independent riders. To ensure everyone's safety in the lagoon, renters must demonstrate a proficiency level of IKO Level 3, VDWS, or higher. You should be fully independent, able to ride upwind, and confident in self-rescue techniques.

How do I book a lesson?
The best way to book is to contact us directly via WhatsApp or email. This allows us to discuss the current forecast and tide times with you to pick the perfect window for your lessons.
What should I bring?
Just bring your swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, and water. We provide all the professional gear, including wetsuits and safety equipment. If you are following us to the lagoon in your car, we’ll provide you with the exact meeting point coordinates!
